Inspiration

A classmate of mine shared with me today that I’ve inspired him to exercise again. I guess you can say I talk about exercising and living a healthy life everywhere I go. I mean if you really love something and you’re passionate about it you can’t help but share it to the world, right? I like to know that I’ve inspired people with the things I do and believe in. When smeone tells me that I’ve inspired them to do something good, it encourages me to continue to do the positive things in my life. I’m hoping that my blog will do the same thing, inspire people out there. I know a lot of blogs out there have definately inspired me. It’s nice to know that I can be part of an online community that encourage each other, share tips, advices, recipes, etc. So thank you for sharing your heart and passion for healthy living, bloggers! You’ve truly inspired me.

Well here are my eats for today, I’m going to do it backwards and start with dinner. We had dinner and a movie tonight. I made some of my homemade lasagna (Maria, I totally forgot to try your recipe out tonight. I’ll try it soon! Promise!), salad, and watched Postman with Kevin Costner – it’s an older movie. It was actually pretty good and I enjoyed it a lot.

Sawyer was giving me puppy eyes while we were eating. I had to make the picture b&w ’cause the flash did something weird to his eyes. He has beutiful green-brownish eyes. He’s such a cutie.

I then had a small bowl of organic chocolate mint ice cream. I didn’t finish the whole thing so I gave it to the hubby.

For lunch I had a salad with some leftover grilled salmon from Texas Roadhouse and half of their delicious house bread. It was extremely satisfying.

I didn’t take a picture of my quick breakfast and mid-morning snack but I had toasted whole wheat english muffin with almond butter. An hour later I ate a small, juicy green pear.

My workouts were awesome today! I ran 7.25 miles, played basketball for over 30 min., came home and did 45 min. of yoga. Yoga was extra hard for me tonight because I haven’t done it in a week or so and definately felt it this evening. I really needed it and I’m glad I chose to do it.

I have a date tomorrow morning with body pump and my favorite instructor, Ms. Jeanetta. I’m looking forward to my strength workout and I know Jeanetta is going to give us one heck of a workout. Really looking forward to it! I hope y’all are looking forward to something tomorrow, besides it’s the weekend and I hope you all have some awesome things planned out. I’ve got a 5k to do Saturday @ 7am – it should be fun! I’ll be resting and doing some housework the rest of my weekend, I’ve put off some stuff and needs to be taken care of asap. Well sweeties, I gotta go hit the sack – I’m exhausted like my little guy here! Goodnight & sweetdreams y’all!

The salmon with the salad looks amazing. I just emailed my bf telling him that we should go to Texas Roadhouse on Friday. =)

When you inspire someone it gives you a natural high. My sister said that to me when I ran my first half marathon. She is now training for one in January. We are running it together. It’s one of the best feelings.
